Question: What is difference between the variables with PV parameter and the variables withoutPV parameter? How to define the variable?

Answer: In general, most of the variables with PV parameter are database variables, and can be IO connection variables. When have IO connection, need to define the database variable with PV parameter . i.e. the variable defined in database configuration. For the database variables defined in variables of navigation bar are the variable with alarm parameter, they can represent the alarm status of some IO or zone, cell , sub-cell and group.
